The Scottish Highlands are special for so many reasons. We visited the Highlands for our first time this year and already are longing to go back. To be honest, when we first had the opportunity to go to the Highlands, we were reluctant. We didn’t feel comfortable staying in a very rural place in a country we hadn’t been to before. We decided to take the chance though and wow, it was one of the best travel decisions we have ever made! What is Special About the Scottish Highlands

One of our favorite parts of our recent Scotland trip was spending quiet time in nature, at the beautiful forest walk, called Reelig Glen, near Inverness in the Scottish Highlands. Come along with us on this quiet walk through the forest, listening to nothing but the chirping birds, flowing water, gentle breeze, and our footsteps on the forest floor.
